We sorted all the toys yesterday, unearthing the violin and the recorder (also known as 'the band' or a 'trumpet'). Since then we have often played a game where one of us strums the violin and sings a song while the other plays the recorder. Since the violin is a fake, and neither of us have any skills with the recorder (or the violin for that matter) these are particularly choice jam sessions.This evening I was feeding baby, and thus could not (would not?) play along. So Kiddo sat on the couch and played both. Good for her.
